Let me review 1995 with you: 1. We began the year by participating in Battalion Day, Jan. 29, in Old Town, San Diego. What a thrill for us all. 2. We have published a cookbook (your favorite recipes) which has already enjoyed an outstanding sales record. Do you have one? 3. Our Battalion Dinner and Ball ha July was both a successful and enjoyable social event. All those uniforms and colorful long dresses parading ha the Grand March thrilled us all! 4. Our October Boutique didn't last long; we sold out very fist! Get ready now for the next one. 5. Company elections in November brought in many new, younger women to leadership positions; these will greatly strengthen and Inspire our .... ranks. Installation ceremonies were truly inspiring occasions. 6. The names of three new Life members have been added to our plaque! Please consider joining them. 7. Many delicious meals were served at company meetings by our faithful sisters--to the gastronomical delight of every Battalion member. Much praise and gratitude for you who unselfishly do this. 8. The Centennial events in Utah portend in eventful year. Plan to attend as many as possible--and write about them in your Journals, thus preserving them for posterity. Above all, become alive, active, and vital in 1996!
