1996 promises to be an exciting year for ALL of us! In Utah, many Centennial events are
planned throughout the year. Please participate in as many as you can. Also, to invite
more women to participate in company meetings. For example, one of you could give a short
talk each time on one of the 32 women who began the march. Do you know about their very
interesting lives? (A book will be published this month which could serve as a reference
for these talks.) We also suggest the memorializing of their graves with our marker.
(Their gravesites are mostly unmarked.) :It is important that we give these women the
recognition they deserve. Please appoint a Memorialization Officer now, if you don't
already have one. This united activity will bond us all in a common cause and will be a
special contribution to the Utah Centennial celebrations.
