As we commence another eventful year, I look forward with great anticipation to the
many opportunities we will have. True, we may not participate in as many commemorative
events, but we certainly will have the opportunities for us to strengthen our Battalion
and to do more for our constituents and our communities. I, personally, am anxious to see
more of the area over which the Battalion traveled. I would like for us to make a trek
this year from Ft. Leavenworth to Santa Fe (with perhaps a trip to Branson, MO, for two or
three days!) and a stop in Pueblo on the way--either going or coming back. Best wishes to
all of you for the coming year!
