COMMANDER'S COMMENTS --Col. Clayton Fairbourn

Years ago, as a small boy, I watched my Dad pull a 3x5 card from his pocket and study the 15 elements of self-improvement, called "The Law of Success" by Napoleon Hill, which he studied daily. They are: A Definite, Chief Aim; Self Confidence; Habit of Saving; Initiative & Leadership; Imagination; Enthusiasm; Self Control; Habit of Doing More than Paid for; Pleasing Personality; Accurate Thinking; concentration; Co-operation; Profiting by Failure; Tolerance; Practicing the Golden Rule. These items ruled his daily conduct; through them he learned to separate facts into two classes: important, and unimportant, or relevant, irrelevant. These were Dad's continual friends; they totally absorbed his mind, and his life was happy. His companions sought him out for both solace and happiness. I urge you to fill your mind with good quality thoughts that will enrich your life and the lives of those with whom you associate.
