Mormon Battalion Pin

“To Be Held in Honorable Remembrance” |
|
Mormon Battalion Association and Friends |
The Mormon Battalion Association has commissioned 500 collectable pins to be made based on the Ed Fraughton sculpture of a Mormon Battalion soldier. The pins are very detailed and gold plated. They have the words “Mormon Battalion” and “Honorable Remembrance” across the base. They were designed to be worn and displayed on a suit jacket or a blazer as a way of honoring the beloved Mormon Battalion Soldier. They could also be displayed anyplace other pins would be such as on hats, blouses or in a pin collection. The Mormon Battalion Association has also authorized the wearing of the pin on the Class A uniform. It would be a very appropriate way prompting others to ask what the pin represents and giving Battalion members the chance to explain who and what we are.
These keepsake pins are being offered on a first-come first-served basis. We want to make sure that all Mormon Battalion Association members and friends have a chance to obtain a pin. All those interested in having pins should contact us immediately. Pins have been reserved for those who pre-ordered them and are available for you now. The suggested donation of pins is $10.00. For those who want them mailed there is an additional $3.00 shipping charge for every 10 pins.
We’re very excited about this pin and hope that you are too. It will give others a chance to have a “piece” of the story of this noble band of soldiers and we hope they will stimulate an interest in belonging to or supporting the Mormon Battalion.
