St. George News

We have been very busy in Dixie. We have made some campfire presentations to the Scouts in connection with their Trail patch. Several slides have been presented in connection with these activities. A couple of us were able to participate with Kane Company on the 4th of July parade. In August, we were the color guard for the Washington County Fair and on September 25th we will be the color guard for the Santa Clara Swiss Days. People are becoming more familiar with the Mormon Battalion and the service they provided our country. We now have thirteen members and are hoping to have our Company organized at our Meeting on Sept 24th. We will have supper and a special speaker. Everyone is invited to join us in Dixie!
